Managing Nerves To Pitch With Confidence

I am giving this Masterclass to support Routes during Refugee Week - 17th to 23rd of June.

All donations will go to Routes an organisation supporting women immigrant by offering mentoring programmes, and theatre workshops to facilitate their integration in the UK. Women face significantly more barriers to English language support than men, and without the opportunity to learn, many women are stuck in a cycle of low English, low confidence and social isolation. Routes exist to break this cycle.

Shaking? Freezing? Blushing? Stuttering? 

When our nerves kick in, it becomes harder for our body to focus and relax.

Mind Blanks?

Under pressure, our minds go blank and are unable to structure our thoughts. 

Yes, I am referring to the fear people experience the most – the fear of public speaking. 

Pitch With Confidence is a 60-minute interactive session including group exercises to manage our nerves before and during a presentation. We will cover techniques and tools as well as learning from other people experiences.

We will practice:

• Exercises to do before speaking in order to lower anxiety.

• Adopting a pro-active mindset. Mind and Body are aligned, so we will look at how to transform the fear into passion.

• Which actions to take when the nerves kick in during a presentation.

These techniques have been developed for speaking in public, meetings or for media appearances but they can be practiced anytime you are feeling nervous.
