Pitching with Confidence – Masterclass

The goal of the masterclass is to give you the tool to pitch your business eloquently, with passion, authenticity, and credibility. 

The masterclass is highly interactive, and the aim is for each participant to find out what works for them, how they can activate their confidence and what to practice before a pitching session.

In this Masterclass, we will cover:

  • What matters the most when pitching.

  • Basics of achieving a grounded presence that transforms the effectiveness of any message.

  • Tried-and-tested techniques to avoid filler words, find the right posture and hand gestures that improve speech, have affective eye contact.

  • Mindset and Activating Confidence Exercises.

  • Best practice when pitching remotely or on-camera.

Get your pitch ideas ready, bring a pen, a pad as well as your questions.

When you register for your place, you will be sent a calendar invitation as confirmation of your place. The invite will include a unique link from Zoom for you to join the video call. 

About the Speaker

Emma Zangs, Choreographer and Movement & Communication Coach

Emma Zangs is a Choreographer and Movement & Communication Coach. From public speaking training for presentations, pitches and talks, to movement direction and choreography for fashion shows, editorial and dance workshops, Emma inspires people to move and communicate with confidence.

Emma works with growing and established businesses, from GoCardless to Babylon Health, and coaches entrepreneurs on accelerators programmes such as Dream Assembly and D&AD Young Blood. She lectures at Cass Business School and on UCL’s Entrepreneurship MSc and has successfully trained startups to pitch at Dragon’s Den and Pitch@Palace.

In 2019, Emma delivered her TEDx talk ‘We Are All Dancers’, as part of TEDxWomen. Through her work with business owners and refugees, she shared the message that dance unites us all and has a unique power to repair and reshape our lives beyond the physical.

Emma studied Art History and Film Studies at Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris and has an MA in Choreography from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. She is also a Resident of Sadler’s Wells Artist Development Programme. Born in Paris, France, she grew up in the Normandy countryside and now lives in Norwich, Norfolk
